Repeat Prescriptions

We have now introduced a new method by which you can order your repeat prescriptions. This is a web based service that links to your medical record. You can also use this for your children, but all those aged 16 or over must have their own e-mail address. Those aged under 16 can be registered using a parent/household e-mail address.A registration is required for each individual person, adult or child.  Please note patients who are using the Chronic Medication Service (extended prescriptions collected from the chemist) do not require this facility.

  • Order your prescription using the quick and secure online facility - called Vision Online Services.  Register for this service by completing this application form or collect a form from reception.  You may hand the completed form along with photographic identification (ID) into reception, or scan in the signed form and ID and e-mail these to the practice at gram.kemnayreception@nhs.scot.

If this service isn’t suitable to you, you can continue to use the following systems:

  • Hand in the tear off flimsy from your last prescription into the box at the front desk
  • Post your request through the letter box at the side door to the surgery
  • Telephone reception (01467 642289) giving the name of the items you require. Please phone after 9am in order to keep the lines free for the emergencies that come through first thing in the morning.

We then send the new prescription to the chemist across the road (Mansons) and they will make it up ready for your collection.  Let us know if you prefer to use another chemist and we will keep your prescription here for you to collect.

Medication Reviews

The doctors review every repeat medication for patients at least once per year.  You may be contacted for review or clarification of any issues that may arise from this process.
